BALDWIN, Charles Clinton (b. 1835). Two daguerreotypes of subject as a child, slightly different poses. Made by Rev. John Denison Baldwin. Sixth plates. Gift of Mrs. Katherine T. Baldwin Sullivan, December 19, 1941. Both show boy seated wearing checked vest and dark bow at neck. One case has oval pattern with flowers, second case also has floral pattern, but set in a rectangular frame.
BALDWIN, Mrs. John D. (Lemira (?) Hathaway). Made by Rev. John Denison Baldwin. Sixth plate. Gift of Mrs. Katherine T. Baldwin Sullivan, December 19, 1941. Shown waist length, with short fringed scarf around neck. Case has a harp pattern surrounded by flourish border.
BANISTER, Col. Seth and Marcy. Two daguerreotypes of framed paintings, housed in one case, 1869. Sixth plates. Both have been colored. He holds a sword, she holds what appears to be a book. Case by .M.B. Brady, Casemaker, N.Y.. features central harp motif surrounded by flourish with banners in corners.
BANISTER, William A. Oval, 3 ¼" x 4 ¼" with frame. Waist length image of seated man with side whiskers. Cheeks and lips have been tinted pink. Case has a floral bouquet surrounded by elaborate shield border.
BARRELL, ----, .Uncle of G.B.C.. Oval. Bust length image of man with graying chin whiskers and unruly hair. Cheeks and lips have been tinted pink. Case decorated with diamond shaped motif surrounded by lacy rectangular border.
BARTON family dog (Nero?), ca. 1880 [?]. Sixth plate. Gift of Bernard Barton, October 26, 1976. Shows small dark dog with white markings on neck and chest, seated on top of a table covered with patterned cloth. Dog wears a collar which has been tinted gold.

BARTON, Ida and Ada (twins) as girls, b. 1847. Sixth plate. Gift of Herman Riccius, May 18, 1962. Girls sit side by side on two chairs and face front, hands in lap in identical poses. Both wear off the shoulder dresses with pleated fronts, black bead chokers and have short hair cut in a bob style. A gold ring has been painted on fingers of each girl.

Shows slim young boy seated facing front, with white handkerchief in pocket of vest. 2.) Same boy slightly older, seated in pointed back chair wearing silk ascot at neck.

THOMPSON, George (1804-1878), English abolitionist. Quarter plate. Case embossed with colored flowers and the word "Bijou" on spine. Bust length portrait with sitter turned a quarter turn to the left. Faded image and fingerprints evident on plate.
TOWNSEND, Dennis, with unidentified woman. Sixth plate. Paper inside case reads: "Dennis Townsend, son of William, maker of the globe." Balding man with bushy beard seated at right. Young woman with front ringlets seated at left. Gold liner stamped "Thayer" along top edge.
