Daily State Record (Topeka, KS).  Apr. 2, 1861.

In 1859 Edmund G. Ross started the Kansas State Record.  The daily edition came out two years later, but it was only issued when the state legislature was in session.  We are always interested in acquiring newspapers from western states; even more so when they are from the Civil War period.
