The Proceedings of the American Antiquarian Society publishes articles, bibliographies, and tools for scholarship within the general area of American history and culture through 1876. Since the establishment of the interdisciplinary Program of the History of the Book in American Culture at the Society, the Proceedings has become an indispensable journal for the publication of distinguished new work in this burgeoning field. An annual subscription to the Proceedings for two issues, totaling 400 pages or more, costs $45.00 per year (add $8.00 for subscriptions outside the United States and Canada). Individuals or institutions may place orders directly with the Society by sending email to . Libraries may subscribe through their usual subscription agency.
