Summer Seminar
The American Antiquarian Society (AAS), through its Program in the History
of the Book in American Culture, offers a summer seminar in the
interdisciplinary field of book history. Held annually since 1985, these
seminars are intended for literary scholars and historians (including
advanced graduate students), librarians, archivists, and bibliographers,
and other scholars for whom study of the interpretation of the cultural
role of books and other forms of printed material would inform their
dissertation-writing, writing for publication, and teaching.
