AAS has collected over four and a half million books, pamphlets, newspapers, graphics, and manuscripts and continues to add to these holdings through active acquisitions guided by our collection development policy.
Most of the American Antiquarian Society’s collection materials can be located and requested through their records in the catalog. The few that remain uncataloged are listed among Collections Not in the General Catalog. Digital finding aids and inventories support the use of collections not yet included in the general library catalog.
