William Crozier Jr.

1932-2023

William Crozier Jr. died February 21, 2023. As chairman and CEO of BayBank, Crozier developed that institution into a leading consumer bank from the mid-1970s until the late 1990s, through its acquisition by Bank of Boston. An avid genealogist after his retirement, he served as a councilor of the New England Historical and Genealogical Society, a trustee of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, an overseer of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, and a member of the advisory council for the Center for the Study of Values in Public Life at the Harvard University Divinity School.
