A Christmas fantasy written by Thomas Baily Aldrich and then printed on a toy press by twelve-year-old Marion Talbot (1858-1948) and ten-year-old Edith Talbot Jackson (1860-1947), who lived next door to Aldrich. The girls were the daughters of Boston physician Israel Tisdale Talbot. Copies of the book were originally sold at a charity fair.
