Savannah, Georgia, amateur journalist Patrick James Donahue (1866-1920) became a clerk and sign painter, working in Florida and Guadalajara, Mexico. John Bascom Sherrill (1864-1934) became editor and publisher of the Concord Times, in North Carolina. C. Fenton Baldwin (1867-1898) became a mechanic in Watertown, New York. Frank Monroe Beverly (1857-1929) became a poet, farmer, and postmaster in Dickenson County, Virginia. Publisher Henry Graumann (1864-1950) was born in Columbus, Ohio; he later worked as a professional printer in Spokane, Washington.
