Written and printed by fifteen-year-old Warsaw, Indiana, amateur Tom Woods Winder (1862-1933); he became a professional newspaperman and editor working in Buffalo, New York, Hammond, Indiana, and Chicago, Illinois. He also gained fame when he cycled around the U.S. in 1895. This publication features comical woodcut portraits of other amateur printers from Warsaw made by Columbus Ephriham Appleblossom (likely a pseudonym).
