J. N. Currier diary, 1867 or 1895.

This diary was kept by a young New Hampshire girl named J. N. Currier. It contains daily entries concerning the weather, domestic chores, school, drawing lessons, painting, sewing dresses, quilting, picking berries, visiting friends and relatives, and attending town social events including a temperance meeting and Ladies' Aid Society meeting. She also records occasional trips to Concord, Contoocook, and Amherst Springs, and her summer job in a tourist hotel, Grandview House. The diary also tracks her personal income and expenses per month.
