The Dew Chalice is a handwritten newspaper published by the 2nd division of young ladies of Natick High School in Natick, Middlesex County, Mass. during 1854.
It includes poetry, a wanted section, and a lost and found section. The contributors wrote their articles and sections with a quirky and casual tone, which is consistent throughout both issues.
Their listed names also took on the same tone, signing as Patty One-idea, Molly Reckless, and Jane Tenderheart. At the beginning of the paper, they include a "Terms" section which reads "Open ears, sealed lips, attentive minds and understanding hearts. Pay always in advance. All communications post paid."
