The Mountain Gleaner is a handwritten newspaper published in Stafford, Tolland County, Connecticut, during 1857.
It includes moralistic and religious reflections, puzzles, poems, and anecdotes. Thy also include a section about wise sayings for its readers. There are a few newspaper clippings pasted in both volumes.
