The Sabbath School Banner was edited by Zilpah [sic] A. Chase during 1862 in East Piermont, Grafton County, N.H. It includes two articles by the editress in which she attempts to rouse her colleagues and teachers to spread Christianity and describes the aim of the paper.
Zilpha Amanda (Wright) Chase was born in Westford, Middlesex County, Mass. in 1844. She married Henry Chase in 1862. She died in 1928 in Wentworth, Grafton County, N.H. and was buried in Piermont, Grafton County, N.H.
