The Temperance Banner was published by the Winnipesaukee Lodge in Laconia, Belknap County, N.H. during 1865 and 1866. It mainly includes temperance articles, moralistic reflections, puzzles, correspondence, and poems. There is a notice at the end of the vol. 1 no. 3 issue about Santa Claus visiting houses and leaving gifts on the Christmas night of 1865. Vol. 1 no. 3 is held together by a white ribbon.
