The Emmayandi Reporter is assumed to have been published in New Hampshire during 1872. It includes poems, rhymes and puzzles, anecdotes, correspondence, advertisements, and articles about education, morality, and religion. One of the advertisements is for a play titled "Mount Tabor; A Comedy, in Three Acts," written by A.E.S. Telzalo directed by S.E. Dorg, who is also the editress of the paper. The play would take place in March of 1872 and they included all three acts with their dialogue at the end of the newspaper. The contributors sign their writings as A.E.S., Albert, Mary, Squibbs, and Lewis Brandagee.
