Memorial.

A memorial speech is presented by Andrew P. Peabody, given at the annual meeting of the American Antiquarian Society in Worcester, Massachusetts on October 21, 1884 in response to the death of the Society's president Stephen Salisbury. The speaker discusses the history and lineage of the Salisbury family and overviews Salisbury's life from his childhood, to his education and professional life, to his tenure with the Society. Compliments are also given about his character and accomplishments.
