Report of the Librarian.

The article presents the semi-annual report of the librarian of the American Antiquarian Society, presented at the annual meeting in Worcester, Massachusetts held on October 21, 1885. Discussion is included providing the librarian's personal remarks on the contributions of the earlier society librarian Christopher Columbus Baldwin. Details are then given outlining the status of the Society's library archive collections of genealogy, historical records, and other primary resources pertaining to New England history. Announcements of gifts given to the society are listed along with comments on ongoing publishing, preservation and building projects.
