The article presents the outline of the proceedings of the semi-annual meeting of the American Antiquarian Society, held on April 28, 1884 at the Hall of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in Boston, Massachusetts. A list of presiding members is given. The society annual reports regarding membership, finance and the society library are discussed. A presentation address by Frederick W. Putnam featuring axes, celts and other stonework is also mentioned.
