The Site of the First College Buildings at Cambridge.

The article presents discussion concerning the precise location of the first college buildings of Harvard College in Cambridge, Massachusetts during the 1630s. Introductory comments are given noting that historical records determining the site are lost. The author therefore presents an examination into several contemporary sources in order to re-identify its location. Clues are examined regarding town records, logistical explorations into properties held at the time, and secondary source references. Conclusions are offered suggesting that the lot on Braintree street is the most likely location.
