A list is presented featuring benefactors and their donated gifts to the American Antiquarian Society library archives as of April 1889, including Herbert B. Adams and his book "Encouragement of Higher Education," Robert A. Brock and his collection of Virginia newspapers, and the Andover Theological Seminary with their catalogue.
