Reminiscences of Dr. John Park.

A biography of physician and American Antiquarian Society (AAS) member John Park is presented. Park was born in Windham, New Hampshire on January 7, 1775 and studied at Dartmouth College. He began his medical education and practiced medicine in the West Indies, where he witnessed battles between French and English forces. After returning to New England, he served as a naval surgeon and then became a teacher. Excerpts from Park's diary are presented.
