Analysis of the Pictorial Text Inscribed on Two Palenque Tablets.

The article presents the second half of an analysis of a Mayan inscription found on two tablets from the Palenque archaeological site in Mexico. Comments are given reviewing the previous linguistic and pictographic analysis devoted to the works as seen in a previous issue. The author provides in-depth explanation into the meanings and depictions of the pictographs seen on the tablets and discusses their overall meaning and message. Conclusions are given citing the tablets as memorial drawings to a retired priest within the site's mortuary.
