The article presents a description of an archaeological excavation of Mayan tombs within the temple ruins of the Palenque site in Mexico. The author details the location and discovery of a burial chamber at the site. Extensive reports are given specifying the various noteworthy items which were found in the area, including earthen jars, skeletons and burial cases. Further accounts are given regarding the architecture and condition of the chambers themselves. A sketch is also provided illustrating the room's layout.
