The article presents information on an annual meeting of the American Antiquarian Society (AAS). A paper on the development of Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island was presented. Stephen Salisbury was re-elected as AAS president and George Frisbie Hoar and Edward Everett Hale were elected as AAS vice-presidents. A paper on Shays' Rebellion was presented.
