Report of the Librarian.

A report by the librarian of the American Antiquarian Society (AAS) is presented. The author notes the removal of duplicate newspapers from the AAS Library's collection as well as the donation of duplicated materials to the Frankfort-on-the-Main Municipal Library in Frankfurt, Germany. The creation of a book plate for the society's literature related to the U.S. Civil War is described. Donations of books, pamphlets and newspapers to the AAS Library from members, non-members and institutions are noted. The acquisition of a volume from the Archaeologia Americana book series and a portrait of former U.S. senator George Frisbie Hoar is commented on.
