Report of the Librarian.

A report by the librarian for the American Antiquarian Society (AAS) is presented. The author notes the transfer of collected newspaper into storage and the acquisition of a card catalog for the AAS Library's newspaper department. He proposes the creation of an updated list of members and officers of the AAS to reflect changes in the society's membership due to deaths and resignations. Cooperation with state historical societies to promote interest in history and offer historical materials is noted. An excerpt from a document listing laws for Harvard College is presented.
