Report of the Council.

A report by the Council of the American Antiquarian Society (AAS) is presented. The author notes the deaths of AAS members John Chandler Bancroft Davis, Andrew Jackson George, and Edward Gaylord Bourne. An auction of duplicate materials by the AAS Library is noted. The efforts of AAS president Waldo Lincoln to make money from the Lincoln Legacy Fund available to the society are noted. Due to the decision of the County Commissioners of Worcester County, Massachusetts to expand a court house, the society has begun to search for an alternative location for the AAS Library's building.
