A report by the American Antiquarian Society's (AAS) librarian is presented. The author comments on changes to the seal of the AAS and the society's motto and repairs to the society's furniture and portraits. The printing of a diary written by clergyman William Bentley is noted. Donations of books, pamphlets, newspaper and photographs to the AAS Library, including the journal of physician Andrew Hamilton and the book "Early Western Travels, 1748-1846," are discussed. The society has donated books to Clark College and biographical and genealogical documents to the California Genealogical Society.
