Report of the Council.

The article presents a report issued by the American Antiquarian Society (AAS) Council. The author discusses the transition of AAS Library materials into a different building and notes the deaths of AAS members such as Morton Dexter, James F. Hunnewell and Alexander H. Vinton. The furnishing of the AAS building, its architecture and safety measures to prevent fire damage are described. A proposal to distribute a pamphlet focusing on the building is noted. The financing and construction of the original AAS building by AAS founder Isaiah Thomas is discussed.
