Some Notes on Early American Lithography.

A conference paper about early American lithography is presented. It explains how the man who produced the first lithograph in the U.S. was Bass Otis from Bridgewater, Massachusetts. The lithograph appeared in "Analectic Magazine" for July 1819 and depicted a mill scene. other lithographers discussed in the paper include Barnet & Doolittle, Henry Stone, and J.B. Martin.
