A report by the American Antiquarian Society's (AAS) librarian is presented. The author notes that the expansion of the AAS Library's storage space will be utilized to house additions to the library's collections through the acquisition of books, pamphlets, newspapers and maps. The reorganization of library collections focusing on the U.S. Civil War, Spanish America and bibliographies is noted. The donation of portraits by painter Winthrop Chandler, Protestant Episcopal periodicals and materials focusing on U.S. journalism and printing to the AAS Library is discussed.
