Report of the Council.

The article offers information related to the activities of the American Antiquarian Society. The state of the grounds and buildings of the Society are considered. The rearrangement of books, pamphlets and newspapers in the library collections is also discussed. The deaths of several foreign members such as Roald Amundsen, George Otto Trevelyan, and Manuel de Oliveira Lima are also discussed. Other topics include manuscripts related to South America, the aims and objectives of the Society, and the development of library collections.
