The article presents information on an annual meeting of the American Antiquarian Society (AAS) which was held on October 21, 1931 in Worcester, Massachusetts. AAS member Thomas Hovey Gage discussed a dinner to celebrate the bicentennial of Worcester County, Massachusetts at which a bottle of Madeira wine set down a century before was opened. AAS president Calvin Coolidge was re-elected. Papers on historian Thomas Hutchinson and Ecuador were presented.
