The article presents information on a meeting of the American Antiquarian Society (AAS), which was held in Boston, Massachusetts on April 15, 1936. Nominees for AAS membership, including Julian P. Boyd, Francis Henshaw Dewey, and Foster Stearns, were elected to the society. Papers focusing on the causes of the U.S. Civil War and on portraits by painter Joseph Blackburn were presented.
