Harvard College Library and the Libraries of the Mathers.

The article presents dual bibliographies with historical notes regarding the transfer of books in the collections of the 17th century Mather family and that of Harvard University. A list of texts owned by Harvard which came into the Mathers' ownership is given along with a bibliography of works acquired and reacquired by the Harvard Library in the following centuries. Works listed include theological and philosophical manuscripts, and titles written by Increase Mather and Samuel Mather.
