The article presents supplementary notes and primary sources in regards to the 18th-century New Jersey based entrepreneur and portrait artist John Watson as originally discussed in the October 1940 issue. In it multiple reproductions of his portrait drawings are presented with brief profiles of each work. Details are given of the the specifications and ownership of each portrait along with a short biographical sketch of their subjects, such as Colonel Gabriel Stelle, Sophia Watson, and Thomas Gordon.
