The article presents information on an annual meeting of the American Antiquarian Society (AAS) which was held in Worcester, Massachusetts on October 19, 1949. AAS president Samuel Eliot Morison was re-elected and AAS members Paul Beagary Morgan and George Sumner Barton were elected as AAS vice-presidents. Papers on medicine in America during the 18th century and clipper ship sailing cards were presented.
