Report of the Librarian.

A report by the American Antiquarian Society's (AAS) librarian is presented. The author comments that the construction of an addition to the AAS Library's book stack will allow acquisitions to increase and discusses how the library's services are utilized for research. The ability of the AAS to offer photographic copies of its library materials for researchers is noted. Though the number of newspapers acquired by the society has been reduced, some gaps in the AAS newspaper collection have been filled. A proposed project to create a bibliography of American children's books is discussed.
