The Diary of Ebenezer Parkman 1754-1755.

Continued from a previous article (see abstract 4:420). The Reverend Ebenezer Parkman of Westborough, Massachusetts, was a careful recorder of events, conversations, opinions, letters received and written, and plans, both personal and public, as well as the weather and scriptures read and preached upon. Giving catechetical instructions, attending funerals, praying for and with ill parishioners, besides visiting family and friends, the minister led an active life, managing to make diary entries almost every day. The editor has identified people mentioned in the diary in some 300 notes, not numbered consecutively. To be continued.
