Obituary for Bernard Knollenberg (1892-1973). After receiving a law degree from Harvard, Knollenberg set up practice in Honolulu. He served in the Navy during World War I, after which he joined a New York law firm. He became librarian of Yale University in 1938. He was an administrator of the Lend-Lease program during World War II, and served on a federal fisheries board until 1958. He published a number of historical papers and made valuable contributions to the American Antiquarian Society.
