A bibliography designed to delineate source materials for Clifford K. Shipton's 'Early American Imprints', 1639-1800. Lists every known 17th-century book, pamphlet, and broadside published in America and relating to American Indians during 1639-1700. Later works will cover 1700-1800. The format consists of three cross-indexed parts: a chronological listing, an ethnological index arranged by tribe, and a geographical index arranged by present states.
