A note correcting an article by Everett Emerson and Mason I. Lowance (see abstract 12A:2138). The original copy of this Mather sermon, considered lost or no longer extant, in fact exists in the library of the American Antiquarian Society. It does not markedly differ in content from the later copy by Cotton Mather (used by Emerson and Lowance).
