Ezra Joseph Warner III.

Ezra Joseph Warner III (1910-74) failed to graduate from Yale University but was successful both as businessman and scholar. In addition to careers as banker, rancher, and stockbroker, he authored major historical works on the lives and activities of Civil War generals, correcting previous misinformation and including photographs of almost every subject general.
