Sketches the life of the late Ernest James Wessen (1887-1974) who was an avid antiquarian. Beginning in the 1920's the Wessens traveled throughout the United States in search of books and other objects of antiquarian interest. He later went into the book business and prepared a number of catalogs and acquired several important manuscript collections.
