A letter (1832) from Horatio Greenough to David Claypoole Johnston, an engraver, thanking him for some etchings and commenting on the style and content of those etchings. The etchings depict Greenough's group "The Chanting Cherubs." Reprinted letter in possession of the American Antiquarian Society, in the David Claypoole Johnston Family Papers; 3 illus., 5 notes.
