Howard Bonar Jefferson.

Howard Bonar Jefferson served as the third president of Clark University, during 1946-67. He oversaw the rebirth of Clark's psychology program, restored amicable town-gown relations, assured financial stability, initiated a significant campus expansion, and revived several dormant doctoral programs. He also published numerous books on religion.
