Did the Mathers Disagree About the Salem Witchcraft Trials?

Argues that Perry Miller and Kenneth Silverman have erroneously interpreted the Salem witchcraft evidence, and that Increase and Cotton Mather cooperated in the crisis as on all other matters. Both sought to find and punish the "guilty," and to give no comfort to the devil. Both accepted the "limits of human reason and the power of the supernatural.
