Gertrude Robinson Mallary.

Gertrude Robinson Mallary (1902-2002) gathered one of the finest collections of Vermontiana, which she eventually bequeathed to the University of Vermont. Mallary served as vice president for Vermont on the Committee for a New England Bibliography. Active in library affairs, she served on the Vermont Commission for Library Services and was president of the Vermont Library Trustees' Association. She also served as a trustee of the Vermont Historical Society from 1964 to 1970 and was elected an honorary member in 1973. Mallary was elected to the American Antiquarian Society in 1993.
