Elizabeth Fox-Genovese.

Elizabeth Fox-Genovese (1941-2007) was a prolific historian of both France and the American South. Founder in 1978, with her husband, of 'Marxist Perspectives' and a convert to Catholicism in 1995, she held a number of shifting views on issues of historical and contemporary import. She was a devoted and passionate teacher, scholar, and writer.
