Ka Euanelio a Luka was the first complete book of the Bible to be printed on the Hawaiian islands. Only one other copy of the text we have been able to locate (at the University of Michigan) has this map of the Holy Land, labeled as "Kanaana," i.e. Canaan or Palestine. AAS's copy is inscribed: "Colored by a native of the N. West coast of America."
English translation of title from Forbes: The Gospel of Luke: these are the holy words of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, translated into the Hawaiian.
